Create a dashboard for monitoring action plans

This article details an example of a dashboard to create to follow your action plans

Updated over 9 months ago

As part of your action plan monitoring, you can create your own dashboard.

You can create dashboard blocks on these actions and report with different granularities: on all actions, 1 register or a specific action group.

In this example, we will create a dashboard on a register containing 3 groups.

We will create a first section in the dashboard allowing an overall view of the progress of the action plan. We therefore choose dashboard blocks at the register level.

The indicators that we can add:

  • Progress (overall of the action plan)

  • Status of actions on a curve allowing to see the evolution of actions over time (over the current year for example).

  • Status of actions on a diagram, allowing to see the number of each of them.

  • If you have the data, we can also add the planned and spent cost and charge

Here is what our 1st section, "Overall progress" looks like:

Then we can do more or less the same thing for the groups in a 2nd section, for more granularity, with a progression by group:

Here we used the 2 ways to create blocks:

  1. Simple blocks (such as the block displaying the progress) for which we click on then follow the tutorial.

  2. Expert blocks, allowing to combine the indicators of the action plans for a more complete reporting. You can refer to this article to understand how to create an expert block.

We could also create a section by country, if several countries are concerned by the actions, or by BU etc.
