Understand the difference between an operational metric and an internal metric

Updated over 10 months ago

What is a metric?

💡 A metric is a number/value that is collected at regular intervals in the solution.

There are 2 types of metrics in Tenacy:

The internal metrics are metrics whose data is collected automatically by Tenacy through the creation of objects.

Where can you find these metrics?

⚙️ Gear Icon > Catalog > Internal Metrics

The operational metrics are metrics which required data to be entered into the solution on a regular basis, either manually or via an XLS import, or an automatic upload (via connectors or API).

Where can you find these metrics?

The catalog of operational metrics' templates you can find in ⚙️ Gear Icon > Catalog > Metrics

You can also find the metrics you implemented in your environment in Dashboards > Metrics
