Set up a risk matrix

Updated over 11 months ago

To access the scales available on Tenacy, go to ⚙️> Scales > Risk

🔎 To find out more about managing and creating scales, read this article.

Preferences

The default scales can be configured directly in ⚙️ > Preferences.

Simply enter your scale ID in the preference value to change the settings.

⚠️ Any change to the settings applies to all Tenacy risks. You cannot customise the scale directly in only one risk.

Note that Tenacy only offers the configuration of a symmetrical matrix. The colours in your matrix will therefore always be symmetrical with respect to the red line drawn below:

Example of how to set up a custom matrix

We would like to set up our risk matrix in this way, with 3 levels of risk:

We have created 3 new scales:

  • Risk impact

  • Risk level

  • Risk probability

The risk level scale has 3 levels:

  • Very low level from 0 to 10

  • Medium level from 11 to 35

  • High level from 36 to 100

The probability and impact scales have 4 levels:

  • First level from 0 to 24

  • Second level from 25 to 49

  • Third level from 50 to 74

  • Fourth level from 75 to 100
