The Projects Security menu provides access to the list of all projects.
💡Projects for each perimeter, application, or provider are also listed in a Projects tab within those perimeters.
Creating a Project
You can create a project either from the associated perimeter or from the list of all projects by using the button at the top right:
In the Information tab, you can:
Choose the associated perimeter (if created from the list of all projects)
Select the security contact who will monitor this project
Indicate the project manager's name, either:
An external manager, which is a free text field
A Tenacy user, who can then participate in updates (see below)
The Security tracking checkbox allows you to indicate if this project is subject to formal monitoring
Finally, select a default action plan to use for actions launched within the project.
💡If the Security tracking checkbox is unchecked, the project is referenced but no actions will be required, and no alerts will be raised.
List of Projects
This list provides a summary of relevant information about a project and can be filtered by clicking the button at the top right.
Click on a project to manage it.
Project Manager Participation
If a Tenacy user (usually a contributor) is designated as the project manager, they can participate in the following:
Enter the expected dates of the stages and progress the project, except for the Validation stage, which remains the responsibility of the security contact.
Complete questionnaires and evaluations.
Create and manage actions associated with the project, which will be automatically assigned to them.
Enter test results.
Review the security opinion and engage in discussions via the activity stream.
Planning tab
The Planning tab allows you to specify the expected end dates of the different project phases if known. Note that you must specify at least the expected end date of the current phase; otherwise, the project will be flagged as anomalous.
State History
You can view the state change history from the History tab when editing a project:
