Create a version of the dashboard

Tenacy allows you to create versions that can be recalled later.

When creating a version, the displayed values and comments are saved and will be reproduced identically. This therefore, makes it possible to freeze the values to guarantee identical subsequent display.

To create a version (from the current version), click Create version

Then just choose a name

You can then find the version at the top of your dashboard

🔎A version is created automatically when publishing.

Publish a dashboard version

Publishing a dashboard allows you to share it with your colleagues in a simple way. They can even be viewed on mobile.

From a dashboard view, click on the 3 small dots at the top right > Publish.

You can then:

  • choose an existing version or create a new one from the current version

  • specify an expiration date, after which access is blocked

  • optionally specify source IP address restrictions (as seen by Tenacy).

  • Set up a dashboard access code

💡A source IP filtering strategy could, for example, specify the public web browsing NAT(s) of your company's users to ensure that access is only possible from your company network.

Share management

You can view current shares at any time in the Publications tab.

To cancel a post at any time with immediate effect, select the row and click the image.png

The post is based on a secret URL containing an access code. Anyone with this URL can access the dashboard. You can share this link in two ways:

  • either in text format by copying the link displayed or by clicking on the copy icon

  • either in the form of a QR code displayed by clicking on the QR icon (you can then copy the image)

You can also consult the access history by clicking on the number of accessing IPs displayed in the Access column

For each distinct IP, the last access date is displayed.
